01 — THE EXPERIENCE
Cubs on TV, Chicago memorabilia on the walls and pizza that took me straight back to the city where I spent five years doing morning radio.
02 — WHAT WORKED
The pizza is reason number one. The meatballs are number two. Parmesan-garlic wings are number three: fat, juicy and seriously tasty. The wait staff was consistently kind and helpful.
03 — WHAT DIDN’T
The live music can overwhelm the room. I like live music; I also like talking to my wife over dinner. Indoors, the acoustics and amplification made doing both difficult.
04 — WORTH IT?
Order the Godfather — but consider HALF the hot giardiniera unless you enjoy consequences.
