THIS is what EVERY car-buying experience should look and feel like. I could stop there and you'd likely get the picture; however, there is so much more to say. First of all, if you're looking for a vehicle that is not only among the very finest made, but offers more safety factors than you can shake a nine iron at, the Land Rover lineup is the brand to shop. Secondly, the fit and finish on the Discovery Sport HSE is like a hand-tailored suit; it's smooth and refined, well-appointed, and offers the sort of head-turning attention it deserves. Thirdly, and I don't know about you, but better than 50% of my (and my wife's) pleasure of buying (or leasing) comes in the EXPERIENCE we get when shopping, dining, traveling, etc. And Jaguar-Land Rover Carlsbad is exactly the sort of experience you're looking for and expect from a Top Shelf dealership. Experience is Everything, and the team at JLRC make it happen in style. Lastly, and perhaps my favorite part of our recent experience, is Tom Wallace. Tom is the Business Manager & Sales Person who assisted us. I reached out to Tom weeks, if not months ago, when we first began our homework. He responded professionally, and without being pushy, letting me know in a confident way that he would be there for me when the right moment came. That moment came this past week. And by the weekend, we were driving away with a vehicle that, while I had dreamed of having such a vehicle, has exceeded my expectations in many ways. Yes, I have had a Rover in the past. In fact, I had a Range Rover Sport. Moreover, it quickly became my favorite. Personally, and as much I like the RR Sport, I believe this is a much better fit for me and my wife. The "Disco" is smaller, more fuel efficient--thanks to the lighter weight, and is equally luxurious (and for $10-20K less). Besides, the HSE has all the same bells & whistles and is much friendlier to the wallet (in gas consumption). But back to the best part of the experience: Tom Wallace. Tom is the consummate professional. His charming and helpful demeanor is simply outstanding. His attention to detail, knowledge of both the vehicles and the financing is superb. Finally, it's his warmth that makes you leave the lot feeling like you have a new friend--one that you can rest assured has Got Your Back. All that rambling said (you can't stop an enthusiastic writer from sharing), you owe it to yourself to (a) consider a ROVER for your next luxury purchase, (b) consider shopping Jaguar Land Rover Carlsbad (instead of nearby San Diego), and (c) consider asking for "our new friend" Tom Wallace. You will NOT be disappointed; I guarantee it. Cheers!
