What can I say about Chick-fil-A? First, I’ve been a fan since I was in college in Lynchburg Va, where they started. Second, you can always, as in 100% of the time, count on pleasantly kind and thoroughly helpful assistance. Read: “My pleasure,” their every response. And third, as much as I could crunch the Chick on Sundays, they have a rule to give their employees time off “on the Sabbath.” And yes the sandwiches are good (just skip the gluten-free buns as they’re pretty bad; except my wife likes them), but my two biggest draws are the fries, aka waffle fries, are the iced tea. That tea is as close to my (late) mother’s iced tea as I’ve ever had. Drinking it always reminds me of home. So yeah, I’m a big CFA fan. Heck I’ll see if I can’t dig up an old photo oh my early college years where I was hosting one of my first radio shows (it ended up being my career path) and it was sponsored by and set up in front of one of the flagship stores in the Lynchburg mall. My fave spot here in my “new hometown of Mesa AZ? The one at 6707 E McKellips Rd at Power Rd in Mesa, AZ 85215; (480) 641-1903. Thanks for such good “clean fast food!”
